Daevas concept idea

He is one of marriks older brothers . I like to think marriks gets most of personality traits from daevas.

Daevas comes off as very cold hearted but he just likes to let people think that he is . and he can care less if he doesn't have anything to gain from a situation . he likes taking things that don't belong to him including women , marrik is by far his favorite brother but he doesn't show it .

He loves getting a rise out of Cassie he even has a nickname for her ' little lamb ' he finds Cassie interesting and ultimately finds himself wanting her for himself.
